The Quintessential Vocal Ensemble is proud to announce the launch of Solara Youth Voices: a QVE Choral Outreach Program. Led by music educators Christina Acton, Keira Davis and Nick Leblanc, Solara is an environment to make music as a collective with a focus on expression, education, and accessibility. Solara's aim is to give young singers at any level of experience an equal opportunity to learn and perform music in an ensemble which encourages personal growth and collaboration. We will be learning music from a variety of genres, styles, eras and composers, with a focus on a cappella music.

Solara will rehearse weekly on Mondays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm in the drama room at Lakecrest St. John's Independent School (58 Patrick Street), beginning on Monday September 15th, 2025. The fees to participate will be $150 each semester. There will be 3 semesters, meaning fees for the entire year, from September to June, would be a total of $450. The group is open to youth aged 9 - 15.
